The ferry company was founded in 1976 and currently has a fleet of five ships. These are equipped with restaurants, bars, casinos and duty-free stores.
Connections
The ferries run between Italy and Greece around twice a week from July to September. The journey takes the following route: Igoumenitsa - Corfu - Bari. The journey takes around 10.5 hours.
The trips from Italy (port of Bari) to Albania (port of Durres) and back are almost daily. You should allow about 9 hours for the crossing.
Discounts
Children under the age of 4 travel free of charge, but are not entitled to their own seat. Passengers between the ages of 4 and 12 are charged half fare. Group fares are granted on individual request for groups of 20 people or more.
Port charges are not included in the ticket price and amount to 12 euros per passenger on the Bari-Durres route and 15 euros per passenger on the Bari-Igoumenitsa route.
Transportation conditions
The ships are equipped with cabins for 2, 3 or 4 persons. Overnight stays in the lounges and corridors are expressly prohibited.
Special boxes are available for the transportation of pets. Due to the limited number of boxes, advance booking is recommended. Pets are not permitted in the interior areas of the ships.
Passengers traveling with Ventouris Ferries are requested to arrive at least two hours before the scheduled departure time.
