The shipping company TT-Line

TT-Line was founded in 1962 to provide a fast and efficient ferry service between Travemünde and Trelleborg in Sweden. Since then, the company has continuously expanded its portfolio, formed partnerships and modernized its ships by purchasing new models.

In 1980, together with the Swedish Saga Linjen, the TT Saga line was launched, but it existed only for a short period of time. Later, in 1992, the "TR Line" from Rostock to Trelleborg was established in cooperation with Deutsche Seereederei Rostock and operated jointly until 1996. From that time on, the ferry line was fully owned by TT-Line.

The TT-Line shipping company has continuously adapted and expanded its route network to meet the needs of its customers. The main connection between Travemünde and Trelleborg remains in place. In addition, other connections, such as routes from Rostock and Poland's Świnoujście to Trelleborg, have been added. Particularly noteworthy is the route between Klaipėda in Lithuania and Trelleborg, which was introduced in 2018. TT-Line now connects numerous Baltic ports with a maximum of 18 daily departures, making it of great importance as a transport artery in the region.
