Premium all-inclusive and basic rates

Many services are already included free of charge as standard when booking an A-ROSA river cruise. The majority of cruises can only be booked with the "Premium all-inclusive" rate, which includes full board in the buffet restaurants, all-day drinks, coffee and cake, on-board entertainment, access to the fitness area and sauna, transfers to the ship and even the carriage of children up to the age of 15. The cheaper "Basic" fare is also available for those who are flexible when planning their trip at short notice and want to be surprised with the itinerary and date: Breakfast and water are free of charge, while lunch and dinner can be booked as "Full BoardPlus".

Tradition and modernity

A clear focus of the additional shore excursions that can be booked is on city tours. While tranquil small towns such as Cochem and Sankt Goarshausen and vibrant metropolises such as Strasbourg and Amsterdam are the destinations for excursions from the Rhine, the French rivers Rhône and Seine take you far into the past when you visit Paris, Versailles, Marseille and Avignon. The Danube combines splendor and magnificence with vast nature, as the journey takes you past Vienna and Budapest into the wild Danube Delta. Culture is also a top priority on a river cruise on the Douro; however, the lively port city of Porto and the Spanish city of Salamanca are also well worth a visit from a culinary perspective.
