Symi Port Information

The pearl of the Aegean - that's what the 65 km² island at the extreme edge of the south-eastern Aegean is often called. Rhodes is an hour's boat ride away. Symi is mainly a destination for day tourists from Rhodes. For them, a visit to Panormitis Monastery and the listed harbor is a must. The monastery offers sweeping panoramic views and, as a former place of pilgrimage, is a historical sight. The fishing village of Pedi and one or two excursion boat trips to places on the island that you would otherwise not be able to reach should also be on your Symi agenda. Keyword: the bays of Nanou and Disalona.
