The island of Spiekeroog

Spiekeroog, one of the most beautiful East Frisian islands, attracts many tourists in summer, but true connoisseurs appreciate the peace and quiet in fall and winter. The car-free island offers numerous attractions and experiences such as mudflat walks and a picturesque, 15-kilometer-long sandy beach, which offers plenty of space even in the high season. Historic bathing carts, romantic sunsets and special beach sections for dogs contribute to a unique experience. People with disabilities can also enjoy the beach with a special beach mobile.

The idyllic island village with its picturesque church and old houses offers peace and tranquillity. Small stores and cafés invite you to linger, while artisan workshops cultivate traditional island crafts.
