The ferry port of Palermo is located on the Italian island of Sicily and offers connections to the 8 other Italian islands of Vulcano, Sicily, Filicudi, Alicudi, Salina, Ustica, Sardinia and Lipari as well as to the ports of Genoa, Civitavecchia, Naples, Livorno and Salerno on the Italian mainland. A total of 15 routes are offered several times a week by the shipping companies Tirrenia, Grimaldi Lines, Liberty Lines, Siremar and Grandi Navi Veloci.
