Naples Port Information

On arrival at the port, there is a breathtaking view of Vomero Hill with Sant'Elmo Castle and the majestic Maschio Angioino, the medieval castle in Piazza Municipio. Both are impressive sights that can be visited before continuing on the ferry.

The port itself is equipped with ticket counters, bars, restaurants and luggage storage and offers travelers various amenities such as a shopping center, ATMs and pharmacies. Shuttle buses make it easy to get around the port area.

Thanks to its central location near the city center (Piazza Municipio), the port is easily accessible by public transport, cab or bus from Naples Central Station and Capodichino Airport.

Many attractive destinations can be reached from Naples. The ferry connections offer regular departures to the enchanting islands and coastal stretches of southern Italy. Particularly popular are the connections to the Amalfi Coast, a breathtaking stretch of coast about 60 km from Naples, and to the Aeolian Islands, a volcanic archipelago with 7 main islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea.
