The port of Ko Lipe Island connects Thailand with Malaysia. The Ko Lipe - Langkawi route is offered up to twice daily by the Bundhaya Speed Boat shipping company. The journey takes around 1 hour 30 minutes.

Ko Lipe is located in the middle of the Tarutao Marine Protected Area and is one of the Thai islands that has experienced a real boom in recent years. Backpackers in particular are drawn to this island in the south of Thailand. Accordingly, there are now many resorts, hostels and diving schools on the island. There is always something going on on Ko Lipe and you will also find plenty of beautiful beaches here. Located on the border with Malaysia, Ko Lipe is just three kilometers long. It can therefore get quite crowded in high season.
