Kalymnos Port Information
If you are an ambitious sport climber, then the island of Kalymnos, which covers a good 100 km², is an ideal destination in the Aegean. The village of Massouri in the west of the island is the tourist center. From here you can reach the climbing hotspots. Kalymnos is the island's name, and the capital of the same name is alternatively called Pothia. The journey here takes half an hour by ferry from Kos. Historical sights include the castle of Chora and the white rock monastery in the village of Panormos in the west of the island. On Kalymnos, you can enjoy a sunny vacation all year round - for example in the bathing paradise at Vlichadia Beach or on the beach at Palionisos.
