Folegandros Port Information
The small Cycladic island of Folegandros lies in the middle of the Aegean Sea between Athens and Crete. At its narrowest point, it is just one kilometer wide, but almost 13 kilometers long. Its mountainous eastern part is characterized by steep cliffs. The highest point on the island is Agios Eleftherios, which rises only 416 meters above sea level. In the west, the landscape is rather hilly with a maximum altitude of 312 meters (Merovigli) and you can find partly ruined terraced cultures there.
