Föhr Port Information

The North Frisian island of Föhr is considered a quiet neighbor of the islands of Amrum and Sylt, mainly due to its wild and comparatively windless weather. But the number of visitors is also significantly lower than on Sylt, for example - here you can find plenty of relaxation or go on a guided hike to Amrum. Bronze Age gravestones and vegetation that is unusual for a North Sea island invite you to take long walks. Culinary enthusiasts should try the local cheese, which enjoys a particularly good reputation. The island's five mills give it its characteristic panorama, while the West Coast Art Museum is dedicated to regional culture.
