Ferries to Calais

The port city of Calais is located at the narrowest point of the English Channel - just 34 km from Dover and the south coast of England. Calais has therefore been one of the most important ports for shipping traffic to England since the Middle Ages. Today, Calais is the largest ferry port in the north of France, and the Calais - Dover route is the fastest connection across the English Channel with a journey time of just 90 minutes.
