At 3.4 square kilometers, Panarea is the smallest of the seven Aeolian Islands. Many consider it to be the most beautiful. Hibiscus, bougainvillea, olive and lemon trees create an Arcadian atmosphere. You have a wonderful view from Punta del Corvo. When you arrive at the port of San Pietro, your path can lead you through narrow alleyways to Ditella and Drauto or you can choose to visit one of the many restaurants. In contrast to its sister islands, Panarea has a sophisticated air about it. Many wealthy families afford a summer residence here. The bays of Cala dei Zimmari and Cala di Junco offer fabulous beaches for swimming.
