The island of Levanzo is located in the Mediterranean and belongs to the Sicilian province of Trapani. The island is the northernmost and smallest of the Aegadian Islands. Levanzo was already inhabited in the Stone Age and is home to one of the most important archaeological sites in Italy. Visitors can reach the island by small boat from Trapani. The area around the island is a nature reserve. The unspoiled landscape offers a variety of beaches and bays that invite you to linger and relax. Hiking enthusiasts can admire the rocky landscape and the characteristic little houses along the popular paths, which resemble the architecture of North Africa.
