Langelandslinjen

Langelandslinjen belongs to Denmark's largest ferry shipping company, Molslinjen, based in Aarhus. The blue ships of Langelandslinjen operate all year round between the Danish island ports of Spodsbjerg on Langeland and Tårs on Lolland. Langelandslinjen's two large, modern passenger and car ferries offer regular hourly departures between the islands of Langeland and Lolland all year round. On board the two ships, which were put into service in 2012, small and large meals as well as inexpensive items are offered in the on-board store. The ferries also have beautifully equipped coffee bars from the trendy brand "Barista's Coffee Shop", which invite passengers to linger and purchase specialty coffees.

Those who choose the Langelandslinjen between Spodsbjerg and Tårs as an alternative to a car journey across the Great Belt will find the 45-minute boat trip relaxing and varied. Although there is no entertainment program on board the ferries, they offer a pleasant and well-kept atmosphere and a beautiful view of the Danish islands.

The identical ferries M/F Lolland and M/F Langeland were built by the Sietas shipyard in Germany. Both ships have spacious aft saloons on the saloon deck where you can enjoy the peaceful crossing of the Belt. An elevator takes you from the vehicle deck to the saloon deck. In good weather, the seats on the sun deck are particularly popular with passengers.

The Langelandslinjen ships are spacious and handicapped accessible. They have three times the capacity of the old ferries. The ferry ports of Spodsbjerg and Tårs also offer long-term and short-term parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the shipping company offices. The check-in times are just as customer-friendly. To get a place on board one of the ferries, you should check in 15 minutes before departure. Tickets can be conveniently ordered online on the Langelandslinjen website.
