Ferries to Ireland

Ferries are an important transport link between Ireland and Great Britain as well as mainland Europe. The main routes run from Dublin and Rosslare to ports such as Holyhead and Liverpool. The crossing across the Irish Sea usually takes between 3 and 8 hours. Longer routes connect Ireland with the French ports of Dunkirk, Cherbourg and Roscoff as well as the northern Spanish ports of Bilbao and Santander.
