Singapore is a sovereign island and city state in Southeast Asia and is located at the southern end of the Malay Peninsula on the Strait of Malacca and the South China Sea. Singapore's main ferry port is the Harbourfront Centre in the south of the main island. From here, there are numerous ferry connections to various destinations in the region, including Batam, Bintan and Tanjung Pinang in Indonesia as well as Johor Bahru and Desaru in Malaysia.
