Macau is located on the south coast of China on the South China Sea and consists of the Macau peninsula and the islands of Taipa and Coloane. The most important ferry port in Macau is the Terminal Marítimo do Porto Exterior (Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal) on the Macau peninsula. Another important ferry port is the Taipa Ferry Terminal on the island of Taipa. There are regular ferry connections between Macau and Hong Kong.
