If you have plenty of time, you should visit the small but scenic island to the east of Naxos. Only 150 inhabitants, who mainly live in the harbor town of Stavros, try to attract tourism to the very barren and rocky mountain island. Hiking is a recommended activity. This is only possible with good footwear and physical fitness. There are few people in the bathing bays. If you are looking for peace and solitude and are satisfied with little, you will find a little paradise on Donussa. Wonderful bathing bays, especially in Kedros near the village, and beautiful accommodation offer excellent conditions. Cosy rustic-style inns round off the offer.
