The ferry port on the island of Anafi offers connections to the 15 other Greek islands of Syros, Folegandros, Paros, Sikinos, Anafi, Crete, Ios, Naxos, Chalki, Mykonos, Thira, Karpathos, Kasos, Rhodes and Thirasia as well as to the ferry port of Piraeus on the Greek mainland. A total of 17 routes are offered several times a week by the shipping companies SAOS Ferries and Blue Star Ferries.

Anafi is still something of an insider tip in the Cyclades, as this island has not yet been heavily developed for tourism and is only served by a few ferries. If you dare to come here anyway, you will be greeted by warm and honest hospitality and (almost) untouched nature. However, if you are looking for big shopping opportunities and parties, you won't find them here - life on Anafi is rather tranquil and modest, but equally beautiful and authentic.
